Hello. This time, I'll show you a NewPIMS treatment case for a patient with calcific tendinitis. A 66-year-old female patient had severe left shoulder pain for 6 months and had only been receiving injections at another hospital when it hurt. Recently, the pain became so severe that even an injection 2 days before her visit provided no improvement, so she came to see me. The pain was so severe that physical examination couldn't be performed. X-ray showed an enormous calcific tendinitis.

When the calcium deposit is very large and has been present for a long time, there may be associated rotator cuff damage, so MRI was also performed.

The long-standing calcific tendinitis had also caused capsular contracture with severe range of motion restriction. NewPIMS treatment was performed — releasing the capsular contracture and performing calcium crushing and aspiration.

As shown, a large amount of calcium was removed through the crushing and aspiration procedure.

Post-NewPIMS X-ray shows much of the calcium has been removed. Some remains, but additional extracorporeal shockwave therapy should achieve complete removal. The next day, the patient was smiling with nearly no pain and good arm movement. Calcific tendinitis treatment isn't solved by just managing pain. The calcium must be removed to escape calcific tendinitis. NewPIMS treatment shows outstanding results for calcific tendinitis. Now you can be completely free from calcific tendinitis pain without surgery.
